• +  Can't run HWM BlackBox on WinXP.
  HWM BlackBox requires Microfost .NET Framework 2.0 or later. Since this piece of software is embedded in Microsoft Windows Vista, no further installation is required. You may download any version of .NET framework from one of the links below. HWM BlackBox can run with .NET Framework version 2.0 , but higher is recommended.

• +  Performance Testing tools won't work. Why?
  Performance Testing is designed to work on Microsoft Windows Vista, This tool is not available on systems running WinXP.
• +  My HDD capacity is reported lower than it actually is.
  HWM BlackBox reports the actual usable capacity after formatting.
• +  HWM BlackBox doesn't report my CPU temperature.
  Blacbox can read from digital thermal on-die sensors on Intel Core, Core2, Corei7 and AMD Athlon64 and Phenom CPUs. Onboard sensors of third party manufacturers are not detected by HWM BlackBox. On-die sensors are the most reliable way to report temperature.
• +  How do I uninstall HWM BlackBox?
  Since HWM BlackBox requires no installation to run, there is also no further uninstall steps needed. Just drag the BlackBox icon to your Recycle Bin, or simply delete it.
• +  My processor seems to be working at a lower speed than it should. (BlackBox reads lower speed data)
  The probable reason for this is that your CPU has power management features, such as Intel's C1E (Enhanced Halt State) or EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology; or AMD's Cool'n'Quiet and/or PowerNow! technologies, which can dynamically adjust your CPU speed depending on the work load. When this is the case, your CPU will lower its speed for less power consumption and heat.
